What I review

A Surveyor engagement is a structured audit of one or more defined service areas within your firm. The scope is agreed before the assessment begins.

  • Technology stack and how the tools fit together.
  • Operational workflows and the manual work between systems.
  • CRM and data quality.
  • How compliance processes are carried out operationally, or another defined topic.

The review is an operational assessment, not a compliance review or audit. Your Chief Compliance Officer owns compliance determinations.

  • A written findings report with prioritized, actionable recommendations.
  • An interactive presentation of the results.
  • A readout session to work through the findings.

How the engagement works

My recommendations are independent. I take no vendor commissions, so the recommendations are made in your firm's interest alone.

  • A discovery conversation to agree the scope.
  • A defined assessment period and timeline, written into the statement of work.
  • A fixed fee based on the service areas covered and the complexity of the firm.

A complete engagement, or a starting point

Surveyor stands alone as a service or serves as the foundation for ongoing work. Active Navigator and Cartographer retainer clients receive a 20% discount on any additional Surveyor work undertaken during the retainer term.
